The St. Olaf Science Symposium seminars scheduled for Honor's Day this spring will not be occurring for reasons beyond our control. We realize that some of you may have been planning to earn one, two or three seminar credits that day. So we are now announcing two new seminar opportunities that allow a chemistry major to earn up to 4 seminar credits.
Eight current seniors are completing the requirements for earning distinction in chemistry. Part of the process involves giving a public presentation about the research project. These mini-seminars (approximately 20 minutes each) will occur at two different dates and times:
*Saturday, April 14 from 1:00~3:00 in the afternoon, on-campus location to be announced: 3 seminar credits for attendance at this entire mini-symposium.
*Wednesday, April 18 from 7:00~8:00 in the evening, on-campus location to be announced: 1 seminar credit.
We hope you'll be able to join us for these seminars, both to support and encourage your classmates and to earn seminar credits toward your chemistry major.
