Spring Semester Virtual Research Conference

St. Olaf students are invited to participate in a virtual research conference we are hosting this semester. This conference has been arranged by St. Olaf students to provide any interested student with the opportunity to present their work.

Taking place on Saturday, April 24, the conference — the Midwest Interdisciplinary Symposium for Scientific Thought (MISST) — will include an undergraduate poster symposium, a faculty keynote speaker, and a graduate school panel. For more information on MISST, please refer to this link:

Summer Research Opportunity

The Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Coatings and Polymeric are running an exciting Green Chemistry Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program this summer at North Dakota State University! We welcome students interested in green chemistry from diverse educational settings at varying stages of their training. Each REU student will work with an individual Research Mentor for 10 weeks, maximizing the one-on-one mentoring experience.

Stipend: $5,000 plus on-campus housing and a meal plan  

 

Town hall meeting 

Students and faculty interested in our program are invited to attend a town hall meeting on Zoom. The program directors will give an overview of the program, and faculty mentors will provide a brief overview of their projects. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with faculty mentors in breakout rooms.
