Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Prospective Graduate Student Info Session


Our Graduate Admissions Committee will hold a virtual information session on Monday, November 4th from 6pm-7pm EST to explain the graduate program application/visitation process. Any students interested in learning more about our research and community are welcome to attend. Please RSVP here.

The following topics will be covered, with time for questions and engagement from the attendees:
•    Components of a Chemistry PhD application package 
•    Application time-line
•    What our admissions committee values in an applicant
•    What different types of appointments graduates students receive
•    What the financial considerations are
•    How visitations are conducted
•    Diversity, equity, inclusion, and climate as a strength

 
Our priority deadline for evaluation of applications is December 15. However, applications will continue to be reviewed through March 20.
