UW-MADISON VIRTUAL PHARM-D OPEN HOUSE EVENT

Students and faculty are invited to join a UW-Madison virtual PharmD Open House Event on November 14, 2020.  This event is a great opportunity to learn about how this program prepares students for a fulfilling career in health care.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

• 9:30 am-11:30 am CST, delivered via WebEx.
• PharmD Program Overview - Learn about the opportunities available to you within the Doctor of Pharmacy program as well as the unique aspects of the curriculum.
• Admissions Q&A - The PharmD admissions team will discuss the application process, selection criteria, and answer your questions during a Q&A.
• Faculty Panel - Speak with faculty about their careers as professors and practicing pharmacists and why pharmacy may be a great fit for you.
• Student Panel - What is it like to be a pharmacy student at UW-Madison?  Learn more during this Q&A with current students.

While our field has made strides to increase the diversity of chemists, there is still much work to be done to fully make the field anti-racist, inclusive, and equitable for all. The Chemistry Department is committed to this work. We think about it when we design new courses, develop activities, and sit on committees. We strive to do more.
