On November 17, Penn State will be hosting a webinar for undergraduate students interested in learning about graduate research in Theoretical Chemistry as part of Penn State's Chemistry Ph.D. program, and who are considering applying to graduate school in the coming months.
During this webinar students will hear from seven theory and computational chemistry faculty highlighting their science and vision for the future.
You will also hear from current students and alumni speak about their experiences in the theoretical/computational Ph.D. program.
There will be opportunities to ask questions during a Q/A at the end of the webinar.

Faculty that will be presenting include Will Noid, Lasse Jensen, Stewart Mallory, Elvira Sayfutyarova, and Lukas Muechler. Topics will include basic theory, electronic structure calculations, quantum materials, statistical mechanics, multiscale modeling, active matter, and computational biochemistry and biophysics.
